Solo Moto Camp - Exploring Paunsaugunt Plateau, Utah

First Solo Moto Camp on the DR650! On this trip I take my heavily packed Suzuki DR650 on its first moto camp. Originally I had thought about camping around 10,000 ft until I got up in the high country which convinced me to head down in elevation a little bit...too cold for me since I've been acclimated to triple degree heat for awhile. Instead, I continued heading East to an area known as the Paunsaugunt Plateau. This is an area of unbelievable landscapes and spider webs of trails and tracks. To put this in perspective, Bryce Canyon National Park is in this area. So I figured doing a little exploring and camping in this particular area would drop me down to around 8,000 ft or so. Sill ended up being a cold night, for me at least. The DR650 ran great, was curious how the bike would perform with all the weight on it. had no problems cruising the highway at 65 mph or navigating (at times) some challenging terrain out on on the dirt.
