Kawai NV5S Follow Up, and introducing our wonderful K500

A follow-up to my Kawai Novus NV5S review posted a couple of years ago. Much appreciation to Kawai for their excellent customer service, and for giving us the opportunity to exchange our NV5S for an acoustic. We chose the K500, and paid the difference in value between the two models. Since receiving the K500 we couldn't be happier. I wanted to explain in greater detail why we had difficulty with ownership of a digital hybrid piano, and provide my own personal opinion on the high-end digital piano market as of 2025. My hope is that this niche market receives the care that it deserves: modern technology should easily allow for an instrument that is high end both in build quality, amplification and sample size/quality.
