Welcome to Faith Bible Church! Thank you for joining us for worship as we continue our series through the book of Nehemiah, "Built By God: Vision, Prayer, and the People of God." In today's message from Nehemiah 6, we'll see how Nehemiah faced relentless opposition as the work of rebuilding Jerusalem's walls neared completion. Through lies, intimidation, distraction, and spiritual deception, the enemies of God sought to derail the mission and discredit God's servant. Yet Nehemiah remained steadfast because his confidence rested not in himself, but in the Lord. This passage reminds us that the Enemy still uses many of the same tactics today. Distraction, fear, compromise, and deception remain powerful threats to God's people. But as we look at Nehemiah's example, we'll discover how God's Word equips us to discern truth from error, stand firm under pressure, and faithfully persevere in the work God has called us to do. Most importantly, we'll be reminded that God always accomplishes what He sets out to do. The God who completed the work in Jerusalem is the same God who saves sinners, sustains His people, and faithfully completes the work He begins in them through Jesus Christ. We're glad you're here.
