#1 Talkshow ACFFEST 2026 - How To Submit Your Idea bersama Nick Siahaan (Sandal Bupati)

The ACFFEST Series 1 Talkshow, themed "How to Submit Your Idea," is part of the 2026 ACFFEST Program. In 2026, ACFFEST's theme is "From the Lens, Integrity is Maintained." This talkshow discussed the 2026 ACFFEST program and tips for aspiring filmmakers or movie enthusiasts who want to write their short film story ideas without hesitation. The event was introduced by ACFFEST 2026 Program Director, Adhi Setyo Tamtomo, and invited Sandal Bupati Director Nick Siahaan. Nick Siahaan shared his experience writing the initial idea for Sandal Bupati, initially failing in 2022, and then becoming a finalist when ACFFEST Satu Dekade (2024) launched a new competition as part of the #10TahunACFFEST series: the Story Idea Rematch Competition. Active as a professional artist, Nick is a member of Galerien Films, a production house. The ACFFEST talk show is also the production company behind Sandal Bupati and several other great films. The ACFFEST talk show was held to facilitate the public's need to better understand the film industry, particularly as it relates to the film production process. This event is expected to increase the motivation and active participation of Indonesians, including students, amateur filmmakers, and professionals, in participating in various ACFFEST competitions in 2026.
