HOW TO DISASSEMBLE AN M30 CYLINDER HEAD

Today we dive into disassembling an M30 cylinder head out of an E28 535i. We dove into this particular head because the unit that was previously installed in our E12 has seen better days. One or more valves were bent due to improper engine timing so luckily we had an extra late style head from an E28 that could be used! The only thing different from the two head were the distributor style so the old cam must be used. If you are experienced in disassembling M20 cylinder heads then the M30 should be no problem.
