I started the morning in the kitchen, preparing a warm shakshuka for my husband – a simple habit, but one that always brings us together at the beginning of the day. Then, I’ll show you what I managed to find at the flea market this time. I came across a really good deal, one of those pieces with history that I just couldn’t leave there. I dedicated a good part of the day to the veranda. Lately it had become more of a storage space, so I felt the need to clean it up and transform it into a quiet corner, perfect for reading or for those moments when you just want to watch a summer rain. It may not be a major change, but I’ve noticed so many times that an airy space, set up and decorated with a few fresh flowers makes all the difference to your mood. Towards the evening, I went out into the yard to pick lime trees. Its specific smell always brings with it a special atmosphere, so I took the opportunity to relive some fond childhood memories related to this time of year.
