BLACK DAHLIA EPISODE EIGHTEEN Was There A Police Coverup? Part Two

This episode shows the continuing police corruption in Los Angles during the 1940s through the rise of the Brenda Allen prostitution ring, how she rose to power after the fall of Black Widow Forst, and how she was brought down by Sgt. Charles Stoker with the help of wiretapper Jim Vaus and policewoman Audre Davis. Both Vaus and Davis would later turn on Stoker after it turned out that Vaus was also working for Mickey Cohen, and Stoker would be forced out of the police department due to possibly trumped up burglary charges. Also looks into the grand jury examination of what became known as the Dillon fiasco where Leslie Dillon was detained by Doctor DeRiver and the gangster squad. And then looks into the possibility of evidence missing from the Black Dahlia case file.
