Walking Around the Little Potala Palace in Chengde with Lina | 和李娜一起逛承德小布达拉宫

This is the fifth video of my Chengde Tour. I went to Putuo Zongcheng Temple, the largest temple complex among the eight Outlying Temples of Chengde. It was modeled after the Potala Palace in Tibet, so it was also called the Little Potala Palace. It was orginally dedicated to Emperor Qianlong for his mother's birthday and his own birthday. It's for receiving the heads of Ethnic Minority Groups or religious groups. I guess Emperor Qianlong must have been expecting Dalai Lama to his birthday celebration. It costed about 55 million dollars. We can see the beautiful Tibetan Style architechtures here. And we can also see how luxurious life did the Qing Emperors have. Hope that you will enjoy it.
