Northbound on the Pacific Crest Trail | PCT Short Film
A northbound thru hike attempt on the Pacific Crest Trail. This is my first thru hike and I wanted to capture it in a short film I can go back and watch years from now and relive all the awesome memories. The big open views and epic ridge walks were the coolest thing about the PCT, and I wanted to capture as much of the scenery as possible. The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2,650 mile trail from Mexico to Canada thru California, Oregon, and Washington. It starts in the deserts of southern California, passes through the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and ends in the northern Cascades. And yes, I'm aware there's a blurry dirt mark on many of the shots in this video. There was some debris on the sensor of my camera and I didn't realize until it was too late.
