STALKED AT CAMP.. Too Close For Comfort | Kings Canyon, Alice Springs

Welcome back! This week we leave Uluru and ayers rock campground and make our way to Kings Canyon with our Next Gen Ford Ranger and Network RV caravan. We pull up at the Kings Canyon Resort, set up and then check out the park. Dropping juice off in the caravan we go for a look out to Kathleen Springs, a short walk into a waterhole with some history along the way. At the resort they have a happy hour bar which is dog friendly perfect to sit back and watch sunset although we didn't quite get one, with a good view of the Light Towers. We are watched and followed on the way back to the van by some dingoes which are lurking around the camp not scared of people at all.. We cook up a carbonara to prepare for the next day and keep spotting the locals. Next up is the Kings canyon rim walk, possibly our favourite walk in Australia and in conditions we've never seen before, a tough climb to the top but worth it to stroll around the top of the canyon! Along the way there are lookouts and gorges to check out too. Chelsea is bribed to keep going on the walk a little trick from when she was younger. Leaving kings canyon we get a heap of rain so taking any shortcuts to Alice Springs is out of the question. Parking up at the Discovery Park we head over to Alice Springs Brewery for a drink and dinner. A trip to a cafe in Todd Mall with juice for breakfast and a coffee then off to the reptile park for a look around.
