Why Did Super Mario Maker 2 STOP Getting UPDATES? Why It Failed To Stay Relevant
The original Super Mario Maker on Wii U was a PHENOMENON. It was VERY popular despite releasing on the Wii U, which is Nintendo's worst selling system. It even got a Nintendo 3DS version called Super Mario Maker For Nintendo 3DS (which was one of the WORST Mario games) But on the Nintendo Switch, there was hope. Super Mario Maker 2 was released, and seemingly had everything going for it. But it didn't catch on. Why is that? In this retrospective, we'll be revisiting Super Mario Maker 2 and seeing why the game did not live up to it's predeccesor's popularity, and why Nintendo did not give the game DLC like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
