"Mellan folkton och rymdmusik" - Between Ethno and Space - Chapman Stick solo Concert by Per Boysen

This video covers parts of my typical Stick solo concert. I mostly get hired to play this for a seated listening audience at churches, which I love, but this music program has also been appreciated at exhibition vernissages and general music festivals. Tech info: I'm playing a Chapman Stick SG-12 built in Wenge wood. It has four pickups, two for each of the two six-string groups (a total of 12 strings). You can see me switching between different pickup constellations while playing. Each six-string group has its own output which allows me to use different amplifications for both sides of the fretboard, as well as play an expression pedal that controls several aspects of the six strings I (mostly) operate with the right hand (typically freezing a delay tone to create violin-like long notes). As a music lover, I enjoy it a thousand times more watching music being performed, compared to just listening back to an audio recording of what once happened in front of the mic.
