Brooking Vale to Lyallcombe, an N Gauge shelf layout
Brooking Vale to Lyallcombe is my 'L' shaped 'mancave' end to end shelf layout. I built it as a tribute to my West Ham United heroes! It uses Kato Unitrak track, scratch built and modified Kestrel buildings. As I run primarily diesel on most of my layouts I decided to make this a line that is not connected to the network but run by the Diesel Heritage Centre, a fictional organisation set up by a few wealthy philanthropists utilising the existing cuttings and station buildings of a disused branch line to be operated as a trust. As you will see it's not prototypical and I've adopted a 'rule one' approach as always.....'It's my railway and I'll run it however I want!' lol. Hope you like it.
