The trailing arms stabilize the Land Rover Defender's rigid axle. But over time, their bushings give way. The handling becomes spongy. Then a replacement is necessary. We're replacing the original parts with bushings from the Australian company Superpro. Why? Because they've proven themselves in rally racing and can be installed without a press. However, the principle is similar for many off-road vehicles. Even if you don't necessarily want to do it yourself, it's useful to know about basic repairs. This post should help with that.
