How to draw curls: Paper Ribbon Hack / Great drawing exercise

Hi everyone! Upon a request for how to draw curls and curly hair, I decided to give you a small drawing exercise, sword of a hack, to help you learn how to draw curly hair. This exercise is done by cutting strips of paper, curling them with scissors like a ribbon, and using this white paper to help you easily see the curvature and highlights and shadows. In the tutorial (I know I talk with my hands a lot, lol) I will show you how to go from drawing a paper ribbon to making the same thing look a lot more like hair with shading in the direction of the ribbon and adding loose hairs around the main shape.
