Mental Health Journey to CA(SA) with Nthabiseng Makunyane

In this episode we sit down with Nthabiseng Makunyane on her journey to CA(SA), the importance of mental health in this journey and how she tackles this issue as a certified coach. About Nthabiseng: Nthabiseng completed her Bcom Accounting and CTA at Wits University. She went on to complete her articles at BDO where she was trainee representative and voted trainee of the year in 2019. She then seconded to New Jersey, USA for 4 months in 2020 as an External Audit Consultant. This was cut short due to the Covid-19 which saw her coming back to South Africa, unemployed. During this time, she completed a Life Coaching certification, after which she decided to pursue her passion in teaching and uplifting students by starting CA To Be. She now provides tutoring, mental health guidance and coaching to up and coming Chartered Accountants. Nthabiseng enjoys Yoga and meditation in her free time.
