I grew up in a Muslim environment and, even as a child, searched for the truth about creation and life. In my teens, I began to question faith. At some point, I believed that there was no God and that religion only served to control people. Outwardly, I continued to live as a Muslim—inwardly, I was empty. In my early twenties, I fell into a deep depression and asked myself existential questions: Why am I alive? What is the meaning of life? In my despair, I stopped praying to Allah and simply prayed to God, asking for a sign. Shortly afterward, I met a Christian whose joy and peace deeply touched me. I found a Bible but was afraid to open it. The turning point came when I saw a small book at my friend's house titled: "Muslim Seeks God—Finds Jesus." In that moment, I understood who Jesus truly is. I wept—and a short time later, I surrendered my life to him. Jesus has fundamentally changed my life. I am incredibly grateful for this.
