How to Make Bead Caps for Jewellery

Learn how to make bead caps for your jewellery projects with my step by step tutorial. Materials needed: Copper sheet - I'm using 0.6mm thick (23 gauge) and 0.9mm thick (20 gauge) Tools needed: Disc cutter; Hammer (brass mallet is perfect); Permanent pen; Centre punch; Drill; File; Dapping block and punches. Bead caps are generally used to embellish beads, whether you are stringing them together, or linking them with eyepins and headpins. But bead caps can also be used as end caps for work such as my unisex bangle.
