Vinho faz muito mal à saúde? O que a ciência diz agora?!
For decades we've heard that a glass of wine a day is good for your health—and even doctors repeated this. But is wine really good for your health, or is it a myth? In this video, I explain where this belief came from (the famous French paradox), what the J-curve is, and why older studies had significant biases, such as the "ex-drinker sick" and the "healthy drinker" biases. I present the most recent studies, published in JAMA, which found no protective effect of alcohol, and explain why consumption increases the risk of cancer. I'm not here to judge those who drink, but to provide technical and scientific information so that you can make your own decisions. If you drink, drink in moderation. Like, share, and comment on what you thought! Never self-medicate. If in doubt, consult a doctor you trust. 📃Schedule a consultation with me 📃 https://api.whatsapp.com/send/?phone=...
