How to Play Drums on the Pads While Live Looping | Arturia Minilab MKII | Ableton Live

This video is a tutorial on how I use the drumpads on the Arturia Minilab MK2 to play percussions/drums while doing a live looping session. There are 8 settings or modes in the minilab. We generally use the 8th mode (shift + 8th pad) to use the minilab to interface with Ableton. However, in this mode, we can only use the pads to record, store and launch clips, so we can only play percussions/drums through the keyboard. This video gives a workaround to this. Essentially, all we're doing is switching to a different mode while we're doing a live loop, and switching back to our original mode (8th mode).
