2-Stroke or 4-Stroke for a beginner rider? | Dirt bike first impressions
Having spent a good amount of time learning the fundamentals of riding a dirt bike on the Husqvarna FE 250 and then making the transition to the KTM 300 2-stroke we thought it would be a good opportunity to capture some first impressions and differences between the two bikes. I stand by my statement that the 250 4-stroke is the better bike for a beginner to learn on but after spending more hours on the KTM 300 2-stroke, I would say it's a great bike to advance your riding technique and skills. It definitely takes time to adjust and the thoughts shared in this video are the initial feelings and experiences from a beginners perspective. I'd love to hear your thoughts on some of the topics mentioned and whether you agree or feel differently. Feel free to share in the comments!
