撮影には、数多くのランウェイムービーを手がける映像チームに加え、今回のショーミュージックを担当したthe band apartに同行し、彼らのライブを撮影しているチームにも依頼しました。彼らには、FDMTLの洋服やモデルではなく、バンドメンバーの表情や演奏の様子を中心に撮影してもらいました。 　そのため、本作は緻密に作り込まれたランウェイの「静」と、激しく演奏するバンドを手持ちカメラで追い続ける「動」という二重の構造で成り立っています。 　これは、2002年に新宿リキッドルームでthe band apartのライブを観ていたFDMTLデザイナー自身の心情の再現であり、バンドの圧倒的な存在感と観客の激しい熱狂を、慣れないライブに気後れし、最後列で静かに見ていた自身の視点から表現しています。 　当日ご来場いただいた皆様には、着席して観覧していただくことで、デザイナーのその時の心情を追体験していただく意図がありました。 　全編17分という、ランウェイムービーとしてはかなり長尺ではありますが、the band apartの楽曲に載せて、この日の会場の空気感が伝わる映像作品になっています。 ※最後の楽曲についてはYoutubeの字幕機能を有効にしていただくことで、FDMTLデザイナー津吉によって一部再解釈された日英字幕をご覧いただけます。 For the filming, in addition to the video team that has produced numerous runway movies, we also enlisted the team that films the live performances of the band apart, the band that was playing the music at my show. Instead of focusing on FDMTL’s clothing or models, this team was asked to capture the expressions of the band members and the essence of their performance. As a result, this work is built on a dual structure: the "stillness" of the meticulously crafted runway and the "motion" of the hand-held camera chasing the band as they perform energetically. This represents a recreation of FDMTL designer’s own emotions when he watched the band apart live at Shinjuku in 2002, capturing the overwhelming presence of the band and the intense excitement of the audience from his perspective quietly watching from the back row. For those who attended the event, we aimed to provide an experience where they could share in his emotions by watching from their seats. At 17 minutes in length, it is quite long for a runway movie, but with the band apart's music, we believe it has become an excellent visual piece that conveys the atmosphere of that day’s venue. ※For the last song, please enable YouTube subtitles to view subtitles that have been partially reinterpreted by our designer.
