He also criticized many Chinese TikTokers for providing biased information about Korea for the sake of views, stating that he would present the true situation, food, and attractions of Korea from a neutral standpoint. He also spread a conspiracy theory regarding the music video for the group IVE's new song. Claiming that IVE's Jang Won-young is Chinese, he asserted, "If you grab anyone in Korea and trace their lineage back three or four generations, a significant number of their ancestors are Chinese." He added, "I don't care at all if the Korean media reports on this. In fact, I hope it is reported." In response, Professor Seo Kyung-duk dismissed this as "an expression of the Chinese people's inferiority complex."
