Race Week | Tokyo World Champs Marathon Build: Episode 4
I placed 9th at the Tokyo World Championships with a time of 2:10:43. I'm proud of the way I fought throughout this race, and I am fired up for the next one. Thank you to Stryd for powering the data for this episode. It was fascinating to see how the heat and humidity affected my overall power output compared to previous marathons. It was also interesting to see how my leg spring stiffness and impact loading rate changed throughout the marathon as fatigue increased. During my stay at the Yunomaru Altitude Training Base, I used the Onsen (hot bath) to continue my heat acclimation.
