surprising my best friend alex with her dream pet...

today i surprise my best friend alex with her dream pet, this has been something that i have been wanting to do for a long time and after alex knew how these animals were like after meeting mine, i knew she would be ready for one. she loved my pet for so long and even pet sits him from time to time so i thought she would be a perfect owner for this little princess. these animals live up to 15 years in captivity and 4-6 years in the wild due to predators, diseases and such so a pet like this is a long term commitment and i knew that this was something i had to make sure she was ready for (which she was!) please don't assume these animals make good pets (if you are considering owning one), they need a lot of space, an enclosure with plenty of room to roam around in (which alex is now building on her property) , a good diet, constant attention and they can be very loud animals. i would only recommend these pets to owners who know about exotics. these animals are legal to own as pets in the state of Texas, as they are African species of fox. please do your research before owning one of these animals. I'm used to wild animals since i was younger and do not recommend these as pets unless you know what to expect. anyway hope you enjoy this surprise! -Levi
