BONO PEACE COUNCIL DIALOGUE: Stakeholders Push for Codified Chieftaincy Succession Rules

Stakeholders at a consultative dialogue on chieftaincy succession disputes have urged traditional authorities and the chieftaincy ministry to initiate a codification of succession procedures across all traditional areas. The call was made at a forum organised by the Bono Regional Peace Council in Sunyani, where participants stressed that clear succession plans are key to promoting peace, development, and orderly governance in the region.
