Algebra 2 – The Remainder and Factor Theorems
Yay Math In Studio lends a "hand" to evaluating polynomial functions and equations using the Remainder and Factor Theorems. We heavily emply synthetic division (specifically, synthetic substitution). We could directly plug into the function, but what fun would ONLY doing that be? Indeed many ways of finding out the roots and zeros exist. Remember that if the polynomial has a factor, then it divides evenly, and the remainder is zero. YAY MATH! Learning should always be fun and connective.
