After noticing the expansion reservoir was almost empty when I bought the bike, I decided not to take any chances — instead, I stripped everything back and rebuilt the entire system for long-term reliability and peace of mind. I show each step of the process, including: Total coolant flush — clearing out old fluid and any contaminants Inspection of all cooling components for leaks, ageing, and general health Replacement of original rubber coolant hoses with brand-new AS3 Performance silicone hoses (UK) Replaced all OEM hose clamps with new stainless steel ones Refill with fresh HOAT, non-silicate ethylene-glycol coolant suitable for the Sprint ST Proper bleeding and air-purging techniques to ensure stable operating temperatures Final checks and a road test to confirm everything is running as it should If you own a Triumph Sprint ST or any older sport-tourer, I hope this is a solid guide on how to refresh and future-proof your cooling system.
