Thanks for providing such beautiful diesel locomotives. Its an immense pleasure witnessing these beasts at such speeds. A Historical Occurrence, Fastest Diesel hauled Shatabdi Express for 9 days, 12029/30 New Delhi - Amritsar Swarna Jayanti Shatabdi Express hauled by EMD Locomotives from Tughlakabad Diesel Locomotive Shed [TKDD], Single v/s Twin EMD Action at 130kmph on New Delhi - Ambala Section of Northern Railways!! The diesel locomotives were assigned for 9 days, due to OHE Block at Platform#1 of Jalandhar Cantt Junction on Ludhiana- Amritsar Section. Moreover it was surprising to see dying Diesel Locomotives at 130kmph speed for which I rushed frequently for the past few days on this line.
