Fry in 2 tablespoons of olive oil and set aside. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and Calabrian pepper. Stir. Next, dissolve two tablespoons of cornstarch in a little milk and incorporate into the sauce. Return the meat to the skillet and stir until thickened. Finish with chopped chives.
