"Gangster ne oğlum!" | Arıza

In Episode 1 of "Arıza" (The Arrest), taxi driver Ali Rıza Altay's house in the Kulaksız neighborhood is hectic. Ali Rıza is getting his sister Nihan married the next day. Nihan's twin, Mert, arrives that night with his permit. Amidst all this commotion, Ali Rıza continues to drive just to make ends meet. Meanwhile, Halide Gürkan attends a lavish reception hosted by Fuat Ersoylu for her father Haşmet Gürkan's 70th birthday. During the reception, Fuat Ersoylu's son, Burak, proposes to Halide, but she refuses. An argument with Burak leads Halide to abandon the reception and board Rıza's taxi. When Burak tries to pick her up, Ali Rıza intervenes, and a fight breaks out. Burak receives the first slap of his life from Ali Rıza. Burak remembers this and later crashes Rıza's sister's wedding. Halide, anticipating what would happen, came to the wedding. However, things spiraled out of control. And after that night, nothing was ever the same again for either Ali Rıza or Halide.
