Join us on a refreshing day trip from Pune as we explore the stunning Tamhini Ghat – a paradise of lush green forests, rolling mountains, and serene viewpoints. We started our journey around 11 AM and set off in our trusted Kia Sonet, excited for a fun family adventure with 2 adults and our 7-year-old. 🍴 Our first stop was a local Maharashtrian dhaba, where we relished delicious Mutton Bhakri along with a variety of authentic non-veg dishes – the perfect start to our day! 🌄 Driving through the scenic ghat section, we stopped at a gorgeous mountain viewpoint to soak in the beauty of nature. Here, we enjoyed some fresh wild mangoes bought on the way and even did a bit of off-roading to reach the spot. The journey was as thrilling as the destination! 🍦 On our way back in the evening, we made a sweet pitstop for some lip-smacking ice cream and comforting jaggery tea, before heading back to our hotel in Pune.
