(HD) Ariana Grande's Vocal Range - My Everything: D3 - Eb6 (2014)

This is the vocal range of Ariana Grande in her second album: My Everything (2014). After the criticisms received regarding her enormous similarity with Mariah Carey that had assaulted her throughout the publication of her debut album, Ariana decided to mark a substantial evolution in her sophomore work creating and developing her own sound. Vocally she didn't make almost any improvement: although she started to explore her low register, it still doesn't work well because of its lack of support and core. I personally like it though, especially these nice F#3s and I also think that she will improve in the future so I don't worry too much about. Conversely, her incredible upper chest register has shown a little rising: her belts definitely became more consistent and stable although I didn't like that pushed Bb5... Still awesome Eb5s, F#5s and G#5s though! What bothered me a bit in this album was her falsetto register: I found it resolutely weaker and unstable, almost fragile... I hope that it won't make the end of the falsetto of Xtina. Nice F#5s, C#6 and D6 though! Musically I really appreciated this album, I think that it's fantastic! I love the production and the melody lines, from the amazing R&B tracks like "Problem", "Break Your Heart Right Back", "Hands on Me" and "You Don't Know Me" (which reminds me A LOT the works of Brandy!) to the handsome Pop masterpieces like "One Last Time" and "Break Free", without forgetting the beautiful power ballad "Love Me Harder" and the melting "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart", written by Harry Styles of One Direction. Amazing work Ariana! My favourite songs are Problem, One Last Time, Why Try, Break Free, Be My Baby, Break Your Heart Right Back, Love Me Harder, Just a Little Bit of Your Heart, Hands on Me, Bang Bang, You Don't Know Me and Too Close! Hope you like it!
