I am very grateful to my parents. In the end, I wasn't able to go to music school, but they never denied my dream and always supported me. And they were always there for me when I didn't contribute much to the household and just saved up during my part-time job. When I told them I had been accepted into Keio University's correspondence course, they happily paid my first year's tuition. When I told them I was going to live on my own, they moved all of my belongings and even bought me some home appliances. There are so many things they've done for me. And after I enrolled in Keio University's correspondence course, my father apparently bragged to all our relatives that I had gotten into Keio. (He told many people at my uncle's wedding.) That's why I was so determined to graduate from Keio University's correspondence course. While I was at the vocational school, I passed the All Japan Economics and Bookkeeping Advanced Exam and the Tax Accountant Exam's Bookkeeping Theory and Financial Statement Theory sections. So, if I had spent the time I had spent on Keio University's correspondence course up until now, I might have passed the remaining three subjects of the tax accountant exam long ago. Still, I prioritized graduating from Keio University's correspondence course. It wasn't for myself anymore, but for my parents. Maybe it's just my own opinion. Also, when I heard that a girl two years younger than me, who I became friends with at a school the year after graduating from vocational school, had passed the Nissho Bookkeeping Level 1 exam by self-studying while earning 60 credits through Keio University's correspondence course, I realized, "Wow, there really are some crazy minds out there."
