Male covers of this song have definitely been done, but I wrote the scripts and altered a bit of the lyrics to change the perspective of the song to Rin's father. Not sure if it's been done before, but I had a lot of fun doing it~ The scripts and general character I gave the father were based on the letter Rin receives at the end. His wife, Rin's mother died, and so he and his daughter were alone together for a while. He was never really okay, and persevered for his daughter's sake, but when she was in danger, he acted. In the end, he was a good man, and a good father. Stuff like this really likes to pull at my heartstrings. It's really rewarding to work with. Sorry if the voice acting isn't up to par! Due to time constraints, I had to record around 4 AM, without a chance to reperform.
