Bastalak - Blood of Zagros (Demo 2025)

Bastalak, meaning frost in Kurdish, plays ancient, cold yet triumphant Black Metal inspired by the likes of Judas Iscariot, Moonblood, Veles, etc. Singing hymns of Kurdish self-determination, hailing the eternal strife of Rojava and all the valiant Kurds who do not bend upon those who aim to undermine them by any means and who arrogantly believe they can break the bind of collective pride and spirit. Furious desert winds are brought in by the fast, infernal melodies evoking some ancient stories of war and patriotism, carried on by the evocative vocals, half sung in kurdish and another half in english, with the pundig drums marking the tempo of the beating hearts of this proudful people.
