OCKA Warby Trip

Once again we set out with a selection of old 40's and one 80 for another O.C.K.A trip. (Old Cruisers Kicking Arse) Had a blast in the tracks around Warburton, east of Melbourne Australia. I took my Extracab ute on the 80 chassis out for it's 4th outing and 1st with the new turbo and intercooler set up. Went good, not as much fun as a LS1 powered 40, but different. Still nothing has fallen off but the seal on the transfer case needs attention. I hadn't been in the area for a few years, some of the rocks that were just starting to show last time were now providing a nice new challenge. One guy twisted his tail shaft into a pretzel but drove home in front wheel drive via the pub for lunch. We played around a bit more in tracks that were fun and enjoyable and I am looking forward to exploring more of that area soon. We have our big club run coming up in the Victorian High Country. last year we had 92 40 series Landcruiisers there, hoping to break 100 this year.
