Great Western Railway Trains at Midgham on January 28th 2023

1st spotting video of 2023 and it's my 1st visit to Midgham on the Berks & Hants Line situated near the village of Woolhampton. Featuring services from Great Western Railway and a one off freighter Midgham station opened in 1847 as Woolhampton which the station is located in the village of Woolhampton itself It was renamed in 1873 as Midgham although it was renamed twice more by British Rail in 1964 to Midgham Halt however the Halt suffix was dropped in 1969. The station itself is linked on a unclassified with the A4 Road to the North and then the South via the Level Crossing the Road then leads to the nearby Kennet and Avon Canal Service pattern for the station as well as Newbury Racecourse and Aldermaston is hourly Reading to Newbury Services which are nowadays served by Class 387s as 4 car sets Since recently the other Electric Newbury services are also hourly originating from London Paddington which between Reading and Newbury call at Theale and Thatcham which in recent times would be the Bedwyn services however at weekends Bedwyn services are cut back to Newbury.
