Dear Boogie friends, it was in 2005 when my dear piano colleague and friend Jo Schumacher and I were invited to an extremely atmospheric Boogie party in East Westphalia. Wonderful duets were created that evening, filmed by Wolfgang Reese and Jürgen Scholz. This “J & J Boogie” is one of my absolute favorites. In the last choruses, our melodies fit together as if we had been rehearsing it all our lives, although they are of course improvised (like the whole piece).
