“On that day, neither man nor jinn will be questioned about their sins (for everything will be made clear).” (Rahman 39) “The criminals will be recognized by their faces, and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet.” (41) “This is Hell, which they denied.” (43) “They will go back and forth between the fire of Hell and a high-heat boiling water.” (44) “Then which of your Lord’s blessings do you deny?” (45) “This means, ‘No one will be questioned about their sins, nor will they be asked, “Are you the sinner, or is someone else?” Or, “Who among you is the sinner?” Rather, they will be recognized by the blackness of their eyes, etc.’” God Almighty says, "On that day, there will be faces covered with dust, and darkness will cover them" (Abese, 40-41). According to the second interpretation, this is a declaration that no ransom will be taken from them. "Their faces will be black" (Zumer, 60). God Almighty, with the expression "...if you have power over the past..." (Rahman, 33), declares that there is no escape for them there; with the expression "you will not be able to save one another, nor help one another..." (Rahman, 35), it declares that there is no one among them who can prevent this punishment; and with the expression "they will not be questioned," it declares that no ransom will be taken on their behalf. The sinner might say, "I too can slip away (without being noticed) and get away with it, I can get away with it." This is why God Almighty says, "Unlike in this world, no sinner can remain hidden..." Because, in this world, for example, a few people, a small group, can escape the general punishment by fleeing and hiding, by not being seen. (But this will not be the case in the Hereafter.) The description of how this seizure occurs reveals what kind of punishment they will receive. Because even being seized by the forelock (hair) alone involves humiliation and degradation for the one who is caught. Being seized by the "feet" is similar. Their forelocks and feet are brought together. According to this explanation, there are two possibilities in this regard: 1) This happens from the back. Thus, their forelocks are brought together and tied from the back and feet. Thus, their chests become like a mound (a circle). 2) This happens from the face. Thus, their heads are placed on their knees, and their forelocks are tied to their toes. "They go back and forth between this and boiling water."
