I Cast My HEAD In SOLID BRONZE! - Metal Casting Art At Home

In this video I will be metal casting my own head in solid bronze. To start, I had to create a 3D model of my head. After that, I 3D printed my head using polycast castable filament. I then made a plaster mold of it with investment plaster and melted out the wax filament. I melted down some scrap bronze I had laying around and poured the molted metal into the plaster mold. I cleaned up the bronze head bust removing any print lines and then polished it to a mirror finish. This did take quite a long time to sand down and clean up any imperfections, but once done, I was left with a mirror polished sculpture of my own head.
