STREET PHOTOGRAPHY: CAMERA SETUP. Modalità di scatto e programmazione macchina fotografica

In street photography, the light is constantly changing. Scenes are highly dynamic, and we continually point the camera lens toward points of light or shadow. #streetphotography #camerasetup #photography Camera setup is a fundamental aspect and must take into account two aspects: the changing light and the elimination of unnecessary variables to stay focused on composition, scene selection, and all those aspects that make up "photography." As a street photographer, I try to utilize the camera's processing power by using the automatic modes it provides. Many photographers I know use the M (Manual) shooting mode and see aperture priority, shutter priority, or automatic as alternatives. Many street photographers see manual mode as a skill. This isn't the case. In reality, having a computer and doing calculations with pen and paper is absurd. Likewise, having a high-performance camera with a high-performance sensor and using manual mode is a mistake that doesn't utilize the camera to its full potential. I use aperture priority shooting mode 99% of the time, and shutter priority mode even more rarely. Only rarely. But this isn't the only camera setup; obviously, the other settings will follow this choice. It's very important for me to properly assign and configure the camera's functions so I can be quick and easy, avoiding having to dig into the camera's menus. I consider three things of primary importance: ISO adjustment, aperture adjustment (operating in aperture priority), and exposure compensation. So I assign and program the dials to modify and adjust these aspects: ISO, aperture, and exposure compensation. This allows me to be precise and fast. Another important aspect is choosing the focus. I also set a button for the different priorities, giving priority to human figures and the eye. I also use automatic focus mode. And finally, everything else is specific to the camera. I shoot in Raw. Finally, I focus on accessories that are comfortable and helpful: Black Rapid or similar as straps to put the weight on my shoulder and not my neck. I think that's all.... enjoy watching my video on camera setup. Here are my contacts: My website: https://www.francescoverolino.it NapoliVelata: https://www.francescoverolino.it/napo...
