Opened in 1929 Shut down in 1995 Molly stark hospital was named in honor of the wife of General John Stark. Stark county is also named after them. Molly stark was 1/25 tuberculosis hospitals in the state of Ohio. In 1938 nearly 1,200 linear feet of tunnels were installed under the hospital. It helped transport things in between building on the facility a lot more convenient. The Molly stark hospital treated over hundreds of thousands of patients for nearly 70 years before closing its doors due too the building getting older and needing too many repairs to never reopen again To this day some say ghosts of patients roam the halls!
