Why do bass absolutely crush lures that don't look like anything they would naturally eat? It's a question I've wondered for years. We spend so much time trying to match the hatch, yet some of the best summertime finesse baits look more like a fuzzy ball or a rubber stick than any real creature in the lake. In this video, I put four of my favorite "weird" finesse presentations to the test, including the Koike-style urchin bait, and show you exactly how I fish each one to catch summertime largemouth bass.
