Nike React SFB Carbon “Black Anthracite” Review | TEQCopsKicks Episode 37

In Episode 37 of TEQCopsKicks, we’re taking a look at the Nike React SFB Carbon in the Black Anthracite colorway. This pair released in July 2021 and retailed for $180. The SFB line stands for Special Field Boot, and this model is built for a completely different lane than your usual lifestyle sneaker. This is not a hype shoe, not a clean casual retro, and not something made just to sit on a shelf. This is a rugged tactical outdoor Nike built for movement, rough terrain, and real use. The Nike React SFB Carbon features Nike React cushioning, a full-length carbon fiber Flyplate, reinforced materials, heavy-duty laces, lace storage, and an aggressive outsole made for traction. It has a tough mesh upper, a reinforced rubber toe, and a dark Black Anthracite colorway that fits the purpose of the shoe perfectly. This is the type of Nike that makes sense for fishing, hiking, camping, trails, exploring the forest, walking through dirt, rocks, grass, gravel, or any situation where a regular clean pair of sneakers just doesn’t make sense. It is not a full waterproof hiking boot, but it is definitely built for more than a normal sneaker. In this review, I go over the design, materials, traction, cushioning, outdoor purpose, and why this pair deserves attention from Nike collectors who appreciate something different. Nike has a deep catalog beyond Jordans, Dunks, Air Maxes, and Air Force 1s, and the React SFB Carbon is one of those overlooked models that shows a more functional side of the brand. Let me know what you think about the Nike React SFB Carbon “Black Anthracite.” Would you wear these for outdoor use, fishing, hiking, camping, or trails?
