This homemade Chocolate Pudding is a cinch to make and is perfect with whipped cream and both only require a few ingredients:milk, cream, eggs/egg yolks, cornstarch, vanilla extract, sugar, semil sweet chocolate chips, unsweetened cocoa powder and I always add salt. Even if you usually make vanilla pudding for dessert, you'll love this pudding recipe! You can use it to make pudding pie or pudding cake or anything that you'd use a pudding recipe for. I prefer to use Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa powder,because the rich flavor is comparable to more expensive brands and it's always available in the grocery store. I'd really like to try it with some Godiva Chocolate. I've used Hershey's chocolate before too, but it's not quite as rich.
