I Charged a Car Battery with a WELDER (Did I Ruin It?)

Can you really fix a dead car battery with a stick welder? In this video, I attempt a dangerous DIY car battery restoration on a 7-year-old minivan battery that wouldn't hold a charge. Using a standard DC stick welder, I force high amps into the battery to try and desulfate the plates. I start at 10 amps and push it all the way up to 50 amps to see if "shock therapy" can bring it back to life or if it will melt the casing. ⚠️ WARNING: This experiment involves high amperage, hydrogen gas, and lead-acid batteries.
