Overhead Microphone Shootout (Neewer, AKG P120, Audix ADX51, Sennheiser e614, Shure SM81, AKG C414)

My friends and I decided to shootout and compare all of our collective drum overhead mics. Prices of these mics range from $100 to $2800. Although the quality of the mics is different, the overall sound was captured in this video directly into Pro Tools through a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 interface. Besides some minor EQ no major editing was done. I’m including links down below to the microphones we used incase you are interested in purchasing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timestamps: Neewer: 0:30 AKG P120: 1:12 Audix ADX51: 1:58 Sennheiser e614: 2:43 Shure SM81: 3:30 AKG C414: 4:14 Neewer: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01...
