Lennon and McCartney Discuss Their Songwriting Partnership (1966)
FROM A 1988 RADIO SHOW REBROADCAST: John Lennon and Paul McCartney are interviewed by Keith Fordyce for a BBC Radio show that originally aired in August 1966. The interview took place in Paul's newly-purchased townhouse on Cavendish Avenue, and about mid-way through the interview a very young "Martha My Dear" can be heard howling from another room. The interview was re-broadcast in 1988 on BBC Radio's "The Beeb's Lost Beatles Tapes," which is when "Hey Jude" was edited in.
