Almost everything you could ever want to know about servicing and recharging fire extinguishers

This video is to go over and teach new people how to service Amerex, Ansul, Buckeye, Kidde, and Badger extinguishers. This information can translate from 2.5 pound extinguishers up to 20 pound extinguishers. Some of the topics gone over are: Proper head parts and hoses, sticker placement, 6 year and hydro service, when to condemn an extinguisher, and much more. This information on ABC extinguishers is also relevant to BC extinguishers. A couple of things not mentioned in the video are: DO NOT put stickers on the front of the fire extinguisher for any reason. The hydro and 6 year should be the only stickers on the extinguisher and they should be on the back. Always make sure that the gauge is lined up with the directions on the front of the extinguisher.
